If anyone has experience with these oil separators for the 104, I would appreciate your help! 96 SL320 with 128k.
The problem I have is there is a lot of oil coming out of the port of the oil/air separator on the bottom of my engine. (near the front where the AC compressor mounts) I have had the mount/separator removed before and everything looked fine, but I am getting a lot of oil, more than I would think is good for my intake valves. It is so bad it is leaking down the side of the separator. Any ideas? I had put a filter in there to catch the oil and that would clog up after about 1000 miles, so I took it out, is there something wrong with my engine? The engine runs fine, no problems with anything, my oil pressure has been higher than normal at 2.75 at idle and 3 anything higher, it is 3 when cold. I switched to syn about 6 mos ago and it has been higher ever since. Any ideas? Thanks for any suggestions.
