I was wondering if anyone can give me the part number for the (updated)pipe leading up to the egr valve on my '95 E320? My CE light keeps coming on and I would like to change this tube. I live in Canada, so would appreciate a number that is applicable in Canada. Thanks.

I recommend cleaning the tube instead; it is effective, easier and cheaper than replacing the entire tube. The part where the clog occurs is where the tube meets the intake manifold. You’ll need a small socket 8-10mm, swivel and extension to get that part off. You can bend (just enough) the tube and clear out the soot in the tube and intake manifold, reinstall and you’re good to go.
Thanks, Geoff |

I'm not sure the part number even changed, I think it's a case where they yanked the old ones and the only part available is the new style part.
Personally I'd replace it with the updated part, the old one will just clog up again and again. Gilly
