Have your flex discs checked. The front disk goes before the rear one does. While under the car, also check the transmission mount and engine mounts.
Rolling + or - 6 inches is totally normal. Jolt from P to R??????? Are your parked on an incline? If so, don't worry. 1989 260E, 445,000K on the clock and counting.
