91 300E - Do I Have Child Safety Locks?
Car is a 1991 300E. I've done a search and only found one thread that vaguely referenced slots near the latches on the rear doors. Supposedly you insert something in there, like your key, to activate the child safety feature. But I tried it and can't get anything to happen. Do I have to pry or something?
My manual says absolutely nothing about child safety locks. Can anyone help? I seriously thought MBZ would have put this feature into their cars since they've always seemed to be pretty ahead of the pack in terms of safety features. Thanks in advance!
