I only recently saw the thread so I'm a day late and a dollar short. I'm glad it got resolved and you weren't hurt nor the car damaged.

I just had an aftermarket flex disc come apart on me about a year after installation, nothing bad happened, I had a lot of experiance with those two
 Next pair is OEM right from the dealer, they sure cost more though xp

Throw some stones what brand went bad? I have a brand new set of Lemforder flex discs waiting to go on my car next month. I have been told Lemforder was OE but I don't want to take chances.
