Installing a trailer wire harness to my ML
Whats the best way to install a wire harness for a trailer on my ML430. Can I use the standard harness that you get at wal-mart or do I need a special unit.

Of course the best thing to do is buy the MB special factory wiring adaptor from a dealer! IT is a plug & go unit!

Get the MB connector, the mating plug and the feed thru grommet is there. The factory hitch fits perfectly also, and is a snap to install. If you splice in I am shure your bulb out warning light will come on. You remove the bumper via some small bolts under the covers, bolt The hitch on and you are done 1 hour labor at MB. The only thing good, I could ever say about my ex-ML.
