Upgrading 300E Headlights
Hi all,
I'm thinking about upgrading the headlights on my 93 300E. Does anyone know if the headlights and/or side marker lights from the '94/'95 W124 cars would fit my car? I may be able to find a pair from a local junkyard for less than the cost of new euro lights for the '93 cars. |

Yes they will fit with no problems, I and another member have done this. You will see a slight curve in the lens near the grill on both sides. But if you don't tell I wont
The curve is only there to fit the aerodynamic properties of the 94/95 hood, another reminder of Mercedes' lost art of overengineering in these cars. They could have just kept the old lights on because they fit the 94/95 body too. Nothing changed but that curve in the lens and thew switch to a more european headlight. |
