1998 E300 722.6 trans 2-3 shift
Now with the car running properly.. when the car is warmed up I feel a bit of a wierd 2-3 shift.. like the beginnings of a flare-shift. It kind of shifts, pauses and shifts again. Does this transmission have a K1 spring that is replaceable like on the 722.3, 4 and 5 trannies? The trans has 230k but was serviced a few times at an MB dealership. Any ideas? Thanks!

It's computercontrolled all the way.
Check fluid level and quality first.

Similar problem
Do a search with "722.6" or an advanced search with my name.
I had a similar problem and Gilly looked up the fixes.

My friend had the fluid changed on his E300D at 150k and it down shifts better. When was it last done? I would do it every 80k, they only charged him like $180.
