Need help on 722.6 tranny, pros please!

Ok here it goes.

I have a 1997 C36 I just purchased 1 month ago. The trans had issuse when I bought it and I bought the car at a desent price.
The tranny has a hard shift from 4-5, under hard acceleration. Under normal acceleration no hard shift. I have taken the trans
apart all clutches and fibers were in great condition, no burns in clutches, all seals good, no springs broken or valves sticking. No metal particals in tranny. I replaced the conductor plate, plug, filter and fluid. Reset adaptation. Drove the car and same problem. I hooked up the HHT and no codes. But the tranny has to much pressure under hard acceliration. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Please olny respond if you know what you are doing. I am lost at this point and I dont feel as if I need a new tranny its in too good of condition just to replace it with a new one and get shafted for $2960 for the trans.

Any help greatly appreciated!

Exclamation

The trans valve body only does what the computer tells it to do!
Either the computer isn't giving correct fill times to the trans valve body OR the valve body has issues.

Complete tear down isn't required unless adaptation of the clutches is above maximun. Use scanner to view shift adaptation tables, live data in the trans computer.

Valve body & a replacement trans computer are the most common repair for that problem, IF the clutch adaptation(s) are in order!

MB Doc - is it possible for the electrical connector to be causing that problem if it is wet with ATF like so many of them are?

Is it possible that the adaption values have to be re-learned (especially since they have been reset) by driving the car for 50-100 miles based on the drivers driving habits?
