I just purchased a 1995 E320 wagon that has had some major body work done on it. The steering wheel has obvious signs of being worked on. How can I check that air bags are installed and in "good" working order? The "SRS" light comes on with the key and then goes off. I assume that this "checks" the air bags and the various sensors. Is that correct? Should I inspect/test anything?
