Question Camshaft lobe limits

Does anybody know the camshaft specs on the 617952 turbo engine? (OM617) 1984. Besides what the valve lift should be? I am measuring lobe height & wonder what the wear likits are. Thanks, Paul.

Wear will be insignificant or its junk. The cams are surfaced hardened and if you wear through the surface its pretty ugly.

Thanks, that's what I figured. I have two & they both look real good, but one is .001" higher than the other. Thanks again.
