I'd go out on a limb and say that 99% of all new cars have plastic headlights. While it’s true that plastic isn’t as infallible as glass, plastics have come a long way and I suppose that’s the reason why everybody is using them now; along with the ability to not have design limitations.

plastic can be reshined to its original clearness easily. usually all it needs is some plastic polosh. i use Mothers plastic polish with a buffer.

I found them for sale in Finland, 397$ us a pair, along with Wald body kits taillights (some pretty tight ones for the W124 sedan)

Dont know if theyd be worth it with the extra shipping cost, but ill post the link anyway.

Be careful as there are original and fake Wald kits referred to as "Wald style".

It appears that none of the locals have used these buckets?

To continue the discussion, how would one put xenon projectors into these?

To use projectors with these lights you would need to buy the lights (obviously) and a set of projectors (from some other car - say E-class or any set that is reasonable yet good quality). Then you would need to fabricate a mounting bracket for the projector inside the headlight. The mounting bracket would need to allow for the adjustment of the headlight beam (just like you can adjust the beam of the normal lamp). Once you had mounted the projector assembly in the headlight you would need to wire it up to the factory wiring.

Lino

Love the full frontal shot! How is it your fenders are so flared? Is the car also lowered? But definitely looks very cool with the new lights. Have to keep my eyes out for the prices to down first though!
