I have the blower motor apart on my E300 TD
I have a 300TD fron eBay and the previous owner had smoke come out of the blower area an subsequent A?C heater failure. He replaced the control unit in the dash but it didn't solve the problem. I now have the blower motor out. I hooked itup to my battery charger and it spins. I removed but havent disconnected the speed control for the blower motor. How can I test this component.

Its a 124
I did a voltage test to the regulator and didn't get any voltage on any of the wires.
