Oh my goodness !!
Are you ok? I'm so sorry to here about your accident. I had 2 accidents within 5 days of each other and so I can kind of relate. Now my daily driver is gong to the junk yard after all my hard work in maintaining it to the max. It hurts in so many ways. I do hope you are alright and got out with minor injuries. Count your blesings that you weren't in a Smart car or Suzuki Swift. That's why I like big cars. Safety is number 1. I wish you luck with your next purchase.

Ouch.
I hope you came out of that okay. It just kills me to see all of the effort, time, and money (blood, sweat, and tears) that goes into these cars. So much more that could ever be given back by an insurance company. Well, on a brighter note... any thoughts on a good replacement?

All I can say is “anyone need a good hood star”
I’m doing OK. Started looking for a new 300e on Sunday morning, not a lot of good one’s out there. I may look @ going to a 300se or a 380. Thanks for all the concern. MY six year old son was in the front right seat. The old W124 cars hold up well and will take good care of you. Greg.

I had a very similar accident... the grill and the hood star were ok. I walked away with only a swelled up knee.... the car collapsed around me...
btw, I parted it out.... got 2200, plus pulled front rotors, pads and calipers, key relays, front brake speed sensors, sunroof motor, and a few other knick-knacks that I have as spares. That car was an 88 300e with only 111k miles on it... __________________ 1989 300e 154k (son's car--- well, I own it) 1989 300ce 125k

Good to here that you and your son are okay!
Well if you do part it out, can you email or pm a quote for the door lock vaccum pump and the instrument cluster? What color is the interior? I need both brown sunvisors..... Also, how much for the upper zebrano wood piece? (wood that surronds the the ac control and etc...) Thanks!
