Has anyone tried these?
I own a 1989 300e and have done a great deal of research on brake pads. I have found a new pad by Wagner called "Thermo-Quiet®" and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with these. They have won some type of award and are supposed to be very innovative as the parts are not riveted together as in other brake pads. The result is a really quiet and smooth pad. Please let me know if you have any information. I really want to order these!!!

Wagner brakes
The Thermo-quiet brake pads are a must especially if you run an aluminum wheel, there is virtually no brake dust, and they do what they say...Quiet!

Quite pads
I've been using Raybestos ceramic compound pads on all my vehicles and found that there is virtually no dust, no noise and best of all, no accellerated wear on the rotors.
They cost no more than regular pads either. Give them a try. Ed |

I'll vouch for the ceramics too, but only the cheapest of pads are generally the ones that squeal and may cause grooves in the rotors. $45 and up usually buys decent pads that don't make noise and premature rotor wear.
