I was cleaning out my trunk last night, and was curious to find what lay behind the left panel on my 1995 C280. I pulled the panel back and noticed a whole bunch of wires along with a computer hook-up (exactly like that from a PC computer, that would normall run to the printer). If any C280 owners would check this in their cars and get back to me so I know I'm not the only one with this I'd really appreciate it. Also, does anyone know what this is for? I know of the OBD hook-up under the hood and the other one under the driver's side dash. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks again!

Your car is factory prewired for options like a CD and a Phone. The connector you found is for the phone.

Computer

I have on my driver side fender a 8-10 pin connection covered by a screw cap, do you know what this is?

if it's round, it *could* be for connecting an ABS Diagnostic tester
