99 129 how to access ac codes

Hello everybody
On my SL 500 A/C. I know that pressing and holding the rest button will give me the values of certain items on the code menu, without a manual and thru extensive research in this forums I've learn a few things from members but nevertheless I'm lost again.I need to find out how to access the fault codes from my A/C unit and how to clear them if there is any store in the unit memory. I've found very informative information in the forums about this topic for 129 up to 1998 and try to follow the instructions but the A/C control unit is different in the 99 different buttons different way to access the codes, I have an innoperative vent on the driver side and have try vacuum checks , send the Y11 vacuum control to be test it in another car and checked out fine .I will appreciate any help trying to diagnose this very irritating problem
Thanks
