E320 Cabriolet rear seatback removal.
I'm replacing the rear speakers in my E320 Cabriolet but can't figure out how to remove the rear seatback. I've read several posts regarding this, but the suggestions are incomplete. I can't seem to find the right bolts/screws to remove.
Has anyone ever done this successfully? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Greg |

I have done it once. The two srews on the outside of the seat back and the two screws behind the armrest. You have to fold the cover back to access these two screws.

Thanks Stan...
I've removed two screws from inside the armrest opening (upper corners) but that hasn't finished the job. When you say fold back the "cover" are you referring to the vertical cloth trim piece inside the armrest opening? If so, it's attached on its sides. I've removed one of the attachments, but there are a bunch more and if I remove those I don't know how I'll be able to re-attach them. Does this sound familar?

E320 Cabriolet rear speaker removal.
I've been able to remove everything except for the top of the interior side panel (where it meets the rear window trim). Any suggestions for the last step so I can get to the speaker? Thanks.
