85 sel power head restraints
Hi, Noob here.
I got my old/new 85 500 sel working well except for the head restraints. I can't get them to move with either the switch on the door (both sides) or manually. The button has no reaction at all...no noise hum...etc. Everything else works (climate control blows either cold or hot but not 'just right'). Where do I start? The driver's seat is listing to the left. I took the seat out (almost as I couldn't disconnect all the electrical lines) and all the springs are intact. I was hoping that one was broken. Will the springs rebend to the original shape or do I need new springs? Thanks, Don |

I had same problem with my 85 380SE re: the head rest not working. Took the back of the seat off saw nothing wrong. Then started feeling under the seat, played around with some wires and headrest started working again so must be loose wiring but too lazy to take seat out as long as it is working
