Ever change the rear ABS speed sensor?

My wife's 190e had the dreaded ABS light come on and stay on about two weeks ago.

OVP relay was fine. Mixture in close loop with fluctuating duty cycle. Idling fine.....well normal for her car.

Front speed sensors replaced within the past two years. Which leads me to either a problem with one of the newer front sensors or the original rear sensor.

I will check all, but I am curious.

Check/Change the brake light switch. It a $15 part. Its a plastic button in a plastic housing at the top of the brake pedal arm.

If you have not done it yet pull the rear sensor and clean it good! They can get mucked up pretty good!

Thanks for the response.

Rear brake lights are fine, but I'll take a look at both the switch and the rear sensor.

She just mentioned the light was off for the past two days and then came back on today so something is intermitent.

D2.

No. No.

With the mixture in closed loop, the OVP is doing its job.
Voltages are within spec.

Follow-up.

Checked the continuity on all ABS sensors. OK
Checked ABS sensors output while rolling the car. OK
Checked ABS light again. Still on.

Removed the battery, cleaned the terminals(only a nominal bit of corrosion)
Removed ABS brain, ECU and fuel injection relay.
Loosened and tightened the wires at the buse and ground wire at front strut tower.

ABS light is off.
