190d-coolant drip from evap core drip tube
Hey all,
My 190d has had a slow drip of coolant from the ac evaporator core drip- hose under the car since we bought it. When the heater is on, it smells of coolant as well. I was wondering if any of you could help me figure out how to rule-out the heater control valve vs. the heater core? -thanks- John |

I'm not familiar with the 201 chassis. Is the heater control valve inside the heater/ac box? If it is it is the only MB I've seen this way. If it is not, then it almost is certainly the heater core.
Good luck, |

190 control valve is outside the evap/core box. under the windshield wiper screening.

Dammit- was hoping it was just the heater control valve- but it sounds like the heater core is leaking if the valve is actually outside of the heater box. Any other thoughts or insight you guys could provide is appreciated.- John
