Tn Signal (rpm Implausable)

91 500sl Impulse Code 7. The Car Has A Rough Idle And Check Engine Light Comes On Radom Under Exceleration. I Was Going To Start With Crank Position Sensor. Any Ideas. What Does Tn Signal Stand For.
