Help needed to Identify blink code for sl 300 roof problem??

Hi, any help appreciated! I have recently had to purchased a new roof control unit for my 1990 300sl, however still not working, on operation of the roof, windows go down, motors running and nothing else. Have checked codes (following previous posts) and left with code 7 that will not erase, can any one help in letting me know what code 7 is???
