Cool Need HELP 91 E300TE 4matic

I am having problems starting my car finnaly started and noticed that when ever I wiggle my +battery terminal wire it makes something click even when the car key is not in the ignition. Is this a voltage regulator or any other ideas would be very helpful. THank you for any help in andvance.

Battery terminal contact problems at the battery post account for the majority of high-current problems. A first step should always be to use a battery post/clamp cleaning tool to make the sufaces shiny, then re-attach. Remove negative clamp first, replace it last. Battery post itself could also have broken internally, so replacing battery could be necessary if post cleaning doesn't solve the 'wiggle' issue.
