96' SL500 soft top issue!
Top opens fine all the way/light on the switch is "off"/ when trying to close goes all the way but will not lock on the front latches,pulling the back lid will help the top to lock on the front,but when cycle is complete the light on the top switch is still 'on' saying the cycle is not complete
 Any ideas? Thank You

I didn't completely understand what you wrote, but if the light remains on when the operation is finished it means that the controller is not getting feedback from all of the latches that they are locked. You might be able to tell which one it is by looking. Otherwise, you will have to check for the signals at the connector to the controller.
