I can't seem to find the pointer for the tensioner. I have the triangle type indicator but I can't find a pointer to reference it too. Is the pointer plastic? Is it part of the tensioner? I can adjust tension but I would like to have it set perfect. How much deflection do I need?

The POINTER

It's located between the front bracket and the tensioner body. if it's not there, then it's broken and needs to be replaced. The pointer is plastic and can be broken (maybe it's nylon, dunno..) Not sure if it's a singular replaceable item. Check with Parts Shop..

No matter what you fix, there will always be something else to fix..
"Warranty" is just another way of postponing the inevitable.
