update on 60k service on my dad's sl600

Hi all, Just thought I'd update you. he got the car back after the 3 weeks, but they had not fixed something he took the car in for in the first place when he had decided to do the 60k service while there.

Well he complained to the manager, and a week later, they still have the car. Its now been just over a month, and he has driven the car once or twice for a day each time before he had to take it back because the same problem it had was there still, and this time the check engine light had come on.

hopefully everything will work out and they will have done a good job on the car, but sheesh 4 weeks is a long time for fixing a couple of small things and doing a 60k service.

At least this time they gave him a benz loaner instead of a taurus. a nice 99 C280, very nice little car. I would be proud to drive one. they drive very nicely, plenty quick, and look good to boot.
