ADAM,
If you were living in Europe, the only possible good purchase to make is the W107 SL (6-cylinder preferred). All the other cars you mentioned are doomed to cost you money instead of bringing any. The W123 is only good as a coupe (we own a "80 230CE ourselves since yesterday), all the sedans don't do anything reasonable here. SE and SEL's (W126) can hardly be sold here. But then again, that is in Europe. If I were you, I would buy me a SL and enjoy some roofless rides in sunny weather! greetingz,

I doubt that there are any in your list that will turn into a money making investment, but of course, you never know.
I believe your best bet would be the SL and SDL's. The 123's, 124's are great automobiles, but I don't expect them to ever be seen in a prominent location in an automobile museum. Good luck and have fun with it, |

I agree. Outside of the really expensive stuff, the only cars that have appreciated are the W113's. I have waited in vain for the 250C's to appreciate.
The 280CE has some potential, but look for a late '81 - with horizontal climate control buttons. Those are fairly rare. Good luck, though. Chuck |
