two minutes, then check engine light
I know I could end up at the dealership with this, but I thought I'd try here. There is no shop near where I am this week that can read MB codes.
The check engine light on my "new" '91 190e 2.6 comes on after about two minutes of driving. The car runs fine, no symptoms I can identify except the light. I attached two vacuum hoses that seemed to belong together but weren't. That didn't make any difference one way or the other. Afterwards I disconnected the battery for a while to reset the diagnostics, but that didn't change anything either. Does this remind anyone of a problem you've heard of or experienced? Thanks for any help you can give. |
