Inexpensive mityvac for the DIYer...
Anyone have any recommendations on a reliable mityvac that won't break my wallet? I need to test out some vacuum lines (trying to fix a center vent issue). Anyhow....if you guys know of soemthing I may be interested in, don't hesitate to chime in. Thanks boys....

There are 2 kinds of vacuum pumps.
The first kind is made of plastic, sells for about $20 and has a short life. The 2nd is made of metal, costs $50-$60 and lasts longer. Which do you want?

Autozone will rent you one for free basically...they charge you the cost (like $35 or something) and then refund it when you bring it back. You can have it as long as you like (I think).
