Removing SLS filter from 560SEL - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

I did a check in the archives but found nothing. I am having a hard time removing the filter from the SLS reservoir. All I can do is spin the filter around and around but when I try to pull it off, nothing. Whats the secret?

Nevermind... I used a flat head screw driver and applied pressure until I was able to pop it off. I figured there would have been an easier way.
