Q's about my Mercedes SLK230 Kompressor

So I recently noticed my car when put into drive makes a "kluck kluck" noise when I'm just idle... maybe a new oil change? (I haven't had one in a really long time) Also the ASR (automatic slip reaction) light has been on for afew months which i've ignored and kept driving on... How bad is that?
