Maybe not the ultimate amperage increase, but I replaced my existing Bosch AL66X with an AL166X. The former is 80 amp; the latter is 100amp.

I used to see about 13.95v-14.0v on a cold engine idling first thing in the morning using the AL66X. I now see about 14.25v-14.30v using the AL166X.

My 2 cents.
