Coolant Light

94 S
Each morning as I leave my gararge the coolant light on the dash comes on for about a minute and then goes off and stays off for the rest of the day no matter how many times I start my car. Next day same thing when you first start comes on for about a minute then goes off.
What could be causing this? and how do I check?

Add about a cup of water to your reservoir and it should quit. When it is cold the water level is low enough to make the light come on. Due to thermal expansion, the water level rises just enough to make the light go out.
Try this...if it doesn't work, you can always come back and post again for free!
