vacuum door locks not working 300e
I must have search 100 posts, but can't seem to find which fuse controls the solenoid that triggers the door locks.
The under the hood fuse box and guide does not indicate a fuse for this function. The bottom line is the door lock system isn't working. Before I go checking wires, I wanted to see if it was a simple fuse. I actually think some wires to the system got disturbed when my son and his friend were look at possible ways to re-wire his stereo last Saturday. It has a keyless remote tied to the system which makes it that much more trouble to look at. The remote is to.... so it's in that gobble gook under the rear seat. I guess I want to rule out the fuse but don't know where it is.

The door locks are vacuum/pneumatic in operation. A vacuum pump located under the rear seat bottom spins one way to lock, the other to unlock. All lock switches are wired to it. Any fuse would indicate it is for the 'vacuum pump'.

Lee,
I will suggest to check for power at the vacuum pump (under the rear seat, passenger side). Chances are the problem is that infamous + connection under the front passenger seat. It is well documented. A search for posts will lead the way (If I remember correctly I posted about this a while ago, with pictures). Do a search for posts by me, you will find it. Edit: Added title of post. "Help me find this positive voltage distribution point"
