I'm stuck again
I accidentally leaned on this piece while filling some oil and broke the thing. the part I'm speaking of is a vacuum hose I'm guessing coming out of the brake booster and going to the intake manifold. the part that attaches to the intake man is metal and attached by a banjo bolt. on the other end there is the brake booster, the part broken is a plastic piece protruding out of the firewall that connects both rubber hoses. I will post a pic. I have been yanking on this piece forever and it spins but wont come loose.

somebody has to know what this thing is. I can not find it in part catalogs. I am referring to the plastic item in the second pic.

It looks like the check valve for the brake booster vacuum hose. You'll need to replace the hose.

the whole thing? from the booster all the way to the intake? I was thinking I could just change the valve. I cant find it on fastlane or performance products. hope its not a dealer only item. thanks for your help kind sir.

ahh
I found it. about $50 bucks. I am mad at my elbow for breaking it.
