Hello!

I can not seem to find much on the net and I need to see if I can get a BLOWER MOTOR befor I buy this car.

Its a great ride in GOOD shape! very clean, engine runs great, smooth, shifted great!

I'm use to older cars and thats what I like about it...I CAN WORK ON IT!

Thanks!

It is hard to answer your question because you didn't see fit to tell us where you are. That specific model was not sold in the United States, so I guess you could say it is rare here. I have only seen one. If you are in Europe or some other places, probably not rare. I would imagine it uses the same blower motor as a 240D for that year.

If I was considering buying a 27 year old gray market car, I think I would be asking a more general question about the availability of replacement parts. I suspect the blower is not the only part you will ever need if you buy this car. Just my .02 worth.

Here is what I have:

I think the Chasis No' is 123

This is what is what is under the hood in front of the radiator:

123 026 12 056883

Straight 6 - 4 bl.

Too late I bought it. for 300.00 I think I got a very good deal for a car that was taken very good care of. SUN ROOF and very nice interior!

The other two things are wiper switch and dash lights....and thats about it!

At the minimum, you should become familiar with http://www.ebay.de/ and http://babelfish.altavista.com/ and find a cheap trans-atlantic carrier.

in my

experience with a euro 280e... i never was unable to get any part that i needed. i cant think of a tune up item that was unavailable at the usual places. any odd parts you should be able to give your parts source the part num and get it.

most parts are the same.
