I soooo need help!! left dash cluster plug

I tried to take my cluster out of my 190e, but i inadvertently disconnected the 15 wire plug retainer, and you guessed it, all the wires pulled out. I tried calling the dealer, they want to see the car. No schematics available. OK. My son is leaving monday for college and i can't figure this thing out. Any help would be sooooo appreciated. The slots are all numbered, i even went to the salvage yard and cut another one off an '88, wires are a diffenert color on my '89. HELP!!!

For what it's worth, the wiring diagram in the Haynes manual for my 123 diesel included the wire colors and the connector numbers, so I was able to put mine back together when I did the same thing. Maybe someone here has a diagram for a 190E?

I have a manual that goes to '88 not '89 and they are different for some reason. Thanks for the reply though!

YOU ROCK!!!! i just put it all together (4 tries to get the right pattern) I can't thank you enough!!! If you ever need anything and i do mean anything as far as Ford stuff, let me know. I'm a parts counter guy here in Mass. I called the local dealer to no avail. I would be ashamed if anyone in my department would not help with something like this, we do it all the time. Might not make a sale every time, but they'll come back when they do.

No problem, glad to help. I went through the same thing about a month ago on my 300D (it took me two tries). I'm never taking that plug apart again. That online manual is pretty useful sometimes.

Help!!! Instrument Cluster Wiring

PLEASE HELP! I need EXACTLY this same type of diagram for my 84' 380SL, the one that shows the wire color and placement of each wire going into this 15 pin connector. I desparately need help here if anyone has this diagram. I am in MA also and Noooooo help from 3 dealerships I tried...UGH! Is this situation with the dealers unique to us here in the NE or is it prevalent everywhere? Many thanks in advance for any and all help, Jeff
