Are there date codes on MB vacuum pods?
Does anyone know if the genuine MB vacuum pods have a manufacture date on them?
I've gotten deep into the dash on my 84 300D, and most all the vacuum pods have been replaced recently, as the sticker on them indicates a manufacture date code. But one pod is a genuine MB pod, and it has a sticker on it with many numbers. One of the numbers looks like it could be a date code, except is has an extra slash, followed by 2 more numbers. For example---12/15/00/12. (This is not the exact code, but is pretty close.) Anyone know for sure if this is a date code or not?
