107 Rear End Clunk: Diff Bad??
Hello All,
My 380SL has a pretty bad clunk in the rear end when you drop into gear (either D or R). She has 'new' tranny mounts, flex disks, drive shaft etc, but the diff is looking pretty scroungy. No noise at all other than dropping into gear. Is there any way to tell if the diff is bad or if I just have a bad diff mount? Thanks! -M-
