Plenty of info around here about A/C repairs. It could be a number of issues. Probably best to start by checking if the system has enough of a freon charge and if the compressor is good. Do you know if the compressor engages and is unable to cool the car, or does the compressor never engage when you turn on the A/C. Also, does the car cool at all at highway speed or does it never blow cold air regardless of if you are in traffic or on the highway?

Could be a number of things from a leak to a siezed compressor, etc. Start by troubleshooting the basics.

Doubt if anyone "stole" your blinker lens...I've read many a thread here of folks seeing them fly off the car whilst driving. Not sure how they are attached, but it's not a tank-like install.

Are you referring to OEM amber or the clears? I think some cheapo clears have issues with staying put as well...

Ali Al-Chalabi, thanks for the info. it never ever cools down, traffic or none. how do i tell if the compressor engages?

G-Benz, yea well, it wsa there when i parked at school in the morning and gone when i got out. but w/e. i am referring to the (OEM?) amber side blinker cover. all i can find are entire light fixtures that are like really expensive.

thanks

Check eBay for the lenses. I get a few parts that way.

A/C "hisses" when the compressor cycles on. However, if freon pressure is low, the system will also prevent the compressor from engaging (cheap protection).
