I've been pouring over the threads for a week trying to fix an intermittent problem with my 93 300E 2.8.... After driving the car and shutting if off for a few minutes (e.g. to get gas), the car will not start (cranks but won't fire). After 15-20 minutes, it will start like there was no problem. Car doesn't stall or idle rough. When it first occured, my mechanic replaced the crank position sensor. That worked until three days ago... I pullled and cleared codes 2,5, and 11 from pin 14. Today it happend again. This time only pulled 11 from pin 14... I've read many threads mentioning OVP, fuel relays, vac leaks etc.. and I'm overwhelmed and need a little direction. Trying not to just throw parts at it which I feel (not sure) my mechanic might do. Any help is greatly appreciated.
