Cool 2002 S430 Problems

Hey everyone i just bought a used 02 s430 with 60k, wen i bought the car everything was ok but now a few weeks later my driver side door controls stoped working, they work when ever they feel like. All the other doors work but the driver door just goes dead, including the suction that closes the door if left open a crack. I was wondering if it was just a fuse or the doors wiring has to be replaced or if it is a battery problem. I tested all the doors and the windows and buttons on the passenger side works and the others to with the suction. Also my SRS light blinks everynow and then or stays on, but if car is restarted goes off.

Thanks for ur help,
BENZDRIVER14

Probably just a loose connection to that door.

Cool

BENZDRIVER14,
Your car (& most MB's from 98) has an interior network of computers.
Each door has its own module & EVERYthing that happens on that door goes thru that module.

Scanner info required...Most likely that door module is having a crisis.

Again, first thing is have system scanned to determine the problem....

WORST case scenario is a new module..$550 & about an hour to install... BUT scanning that computer & the interior network should shed light on the problem.
