diesel oil change
Oil change for 87 300 SDL.If I were to pump the oil out the dip stick to change it.Will this work the same as the drain plug.:

The general consensus is that the top-sider units will do a perfectly acceptable job in changing the oil.
Of course, there is the group that wants to get the last five ounces out of the bottom of the pan, and, for that you'll have to remove the drain plug. The choice is yours. |

thanks: I got it at west marine to change oil in a boat,pump and 5 gal.bucket $99-12v I used it on GM 8V53-n also 170 yanmar.Just thought a marine oil pan was more pump friendly.Thanks
