Turn Signal lights for 124 Euro Headlights

I am going to Stuttgart for a week in early April. I want to try again to get a set of Euro lights for the 124 car.

My question is, will my US turn signal lights fit on the Euro headlight assemblies? When I was at a salvage yard in Hamburg last fall, they showed me the turn signals and they looked just like mine. I didn't have cash, and it was Saturday morning. I was trying to get cash and get back before the closed but didn't make it. Had I gotten the cash, I was going to buy only the headlights, and the vacuum switch and trim plate on the dash. Would that have been a mistake?
