This job will be VERY hard for a non-Mercedes tech to do...I have had them towed from other shops with half of the bolts out for me to fix.

There are specail tools required to get the fan off and the pump bolts out. The labor time is 5-6 hours on the book.

thanks for all your help Mike Murrel & Benzmac. All torn down to pump in two hours .Pump has all allen head tool FLXM 13 wouldn't help. Still working on it. Need a short hex socket with a ball end. thanks again. keep any additional info coming.

2 allen hex head unable to remove even with ballend wrench.any suggestions? thanks
