W124 Instrument Cluster Plug Wire Locations
I was working on my '92 300D trying to wire in a second fuel gauge and temperature gauge. In trying to find out which hole in the plug the ground wire went to, I thought I would open the back of the plug and look. When I did all of the wires came out.
Does anyone know which color wire goes to which hole in the 15 pin wiring plug or have a wiring diagram that would tell me? I need help with this right away as this is my only vehicle, so suggestions to go buy a wiring diagram will not help me. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mark |

This is all great, thanks for the info. Just a side note though, the numbers in the previous post are incorrect. They are numbered on the plug and #1 is directly above the top of the round part of the guide.
Anyhow, I got it all back together using tape to hold each wires in place while I put the rest in. |
