Welcome, new member!!

Is there an inside the hood release, under the dash at the left side, for the car? If so, pull that towards you to the first detent, and the hood will open partway.

Then go to the front of the car, hold the latch(es) in wards or sideways and lift the hood up!

That is if the outside hood release is broken - is that what you mean?

Check the owners manual for further instructions on how to open the hood, or as some say, RTFM

Does this help?

I think ginny means that the release cable has broken somewhere between the inside of the car and the hood. There is no real easy way to get the hood open if this is the case, you simply have to break the grille enough so that you can pull the release at the latch.
