Hi guys,

I've seen many member's cars have changed over to the late model beautiful wood steering wheels. I am wondering any of you informed members can tell me besides W-124's, will steering wheels from M-class, SL-class, S-class or CLK-class fit? I understand airbag needs to be changed as well but am willing to get the new look.

Thank you for your information

Don't shun the 124 steering wheel. The late model 124 has a nice leather wrapped wheel as is in my wife's 93. It is different from the 86-89 wheel so you will have to get the airbag also.

The W124 has a different diameter from the others. Its better to stick to the W124, or do a test feel to make sure that you can still see everything without having them eclipsed by the steering wheel.

Hi,

I am not shunning the W-124 style's steering wheel, the reason is there seems to be a lot of S, SL, ML used steering wheels on the used market. I have a lot more options if they fit,

Thanks

I am pretty sure the S-class steering wheel would fit the W124, but I doubt the SL and ML would.
