service engine now light/1999 320e
1999 e 320, no codes present, local mechanic said there is a way to cancel idiot light without taking to a shop. If so, does anyone know?
THE LIGHT IS ONLY AT INITIAL START UP, A OPEN END WRENCH GRAPHIC APPEARS WITH MESSAGE "SERVICE DUE NOW" iT IS NOT "CHECK ENGINE" Last edited by mas0655; 08-08-2006 at 12:15 PM. Reason: FIRST POST MISLEADING

Ssssure you can buy or borrow a scanner so you can read and erase the code yourself........
